After breakfast, we’ll cruise across Brač Channel towards Pučišća, the biggest settlement on the island of Brač. Sitting inside a deep fjord, Pučišća boasts authentic Mediterranean architecture whose shiny white stone facades rise uphill to form a stunning amphitheatre, emanating a unique rustic ambiance. Pučišća is renown for its quarries, whose stone was used to build limestone columns of the White House in Washington DC, Vienna Parliament and many other well known buildings around the world. This small town is also home to the ancient Stonemasonry School where students carve Brač limestone using old traditional and unconventional tools. After a relaxed stroll around Pučišća, we’ll lunch on board while cruising to Split, our first and last stop.
